Delhi State Ranking League V 2025

LEAGUE INFORMATION

This DELHI STATE RANKING LEAGUE-V (2025) is open to bowlers registered with Tenpin Bowling Association of Delhi (TBAD). The league will be held at ZOREKO, RCUBE Monad Mall, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi from 12th September ‘25 – 5th October ’25.

There will be only one category for this League and women bowlers will be provided with
10 pins handicap per game until Round I.

The Format, schedule are provided in the sections below.

Format

1.1 Round I:

1.1.1 All bowlers will play 3 blocks of 6 games each on manual oiling 36 ft.

1.1.2 TOP 16 bowlers (TOP 14 MEN bowlers and TOP 2 Women bowlers) ranked on basis of total pin fall of 18 games will qualify for Round II.

1.1.3 In case of a Tie, ranking positions will be decided based on the highest score in the last game of the last block. In case there is a tie in the last game score, the previous game score will be considered to break the tie and this will go on till the tie is broken.

1.2 Round II – (ROUND ROBIN):

1.2.1 Round II will be played amongst TOP 16 bowlers in Round Robin format from SCRATCH.

1.2.2 Top 16 bowlers will be divided in TWO Pools

Pool A – Rank 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15.

Pool B – Rank 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16.

All Round Robin matches will be based on a single game where the winner will be awarded 3 bonus points and loser nil. In the case of a draw, 1 bonus point will be shared equally between the competitors.

1.2.3 Top EIGHT bowlers (Top FOUR from each pool) based on higher points earned shall advance to Round III.

1.2.4 In case of a tie for ranking positions, ties shall be broken in the following order:

a) Higher total score in round robin (excluding Bonus points).

b) Higher single game score in round robin (excluding Bonus points).

c) Next higher single game score in round robin (excluding Bonus points) will be considered to break the tie and this will go on till the tie is broken.

1.2.5 Bowlers ranking 9-16 shall be on basis of points earned in round robin. Ties shall be broken as per 1.2.4 and ranking awarded accordingly.

1.3 Round III:

1.3.1 TOP 8 BOWLERS shall play Round III in STEP-LADDER format from scratch.

1.3.1.1 Match I: Rank 5 vs Rank 6 vs Rank 7 vs Rank 8.

1.3.1.2 Match II: Winner Match I vs Rank 3 vs Rank 4.

1.3.1.3 Match III: Winner Match II vs Rank 2.

1.3.1.4 Match IV: Winner Match III vs Rank 1.

1.3.2 In case of a Tie, bowlers will have a one ball roll-off till the tie is broken. (Winner of every match will be decided based on 2 GAME pin fall).

1.3.3 Rankings shall be awarded as per wins and thereafter as per cumulative score of two games played per match. In case of Tie, 1.3.2 shall apply.

Note: The Lane number and order of Play of Game 1 of every Match will be chosen by the Higher Ranked Bowler.
